The Library of Tibetan Works & Archives (LTWA) is a premier, world-renowned institute specializing in Buddhist and Tibetan studies, founded by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in 1970.
Mission and Vision: Conceived in the aftermath of the Chinese takeover of Tibet, the LTWA's core mission is the restoration, protection, preservation, and promotion of Tibetan cultural heritage. It is firmly dedicated to a threefold vision of preservation, protection, and promotion.
